Description

Tascam DM 3200 Console from Bil VornDick

This is a Tascam DM 3200 Console from the collection of Bil VornDick. From Tascam: More channels. More inputs. The TASCAM DM-3200 has more of everything that made the DM-24 a pedigreed studio workhorse. Plus an improved physical interface with per-channel multi-function LED ring encoders, more comprehensive DAW control, vastly improved routing flexibility, easier and robust data backup/ restore, greatly expanded mix storage using compact flash media and much more.

Bil VornDick is a Nashville Legend and One of the Greatest Producer/Engineers of All Time

We welcome his special collection of gear to ANALOGr.

Known for his hands-on recording-studio skills in acoustic, folk, bluegrass, and Americana, VornDick’s recording career includes over 600 albums, five number 1 hits in five different genres, over 40 Grammy nominations, and 9 wins. After being urged by Chet Atkins to move to Nashville, VornDick attended Belmont University where he graduated from Belmont’s music-business program. VornDick became the chief engineer at Stargem Studio, the founder of The Music Shop, and the owner of Music Row Audio and Mountainside Music Group Productions. Artists he worked with included Alison Krauss, Béla Fleck, T. Bone Burnett, Bob Dylan, Jerry Douglas, Marty Stuart, Vince Gill, Rhonda Vincent, and Ralph Stanley to name a few. It is safe to say the sound of Nashville wouldn’t be what it is today without Bil VornDick.
