Description

The M300 is designed primarily for radio and television studio work, as well as general music-studio applications and live performances. It is ideally suited for miking up a very wide range of instruments and voices — spoken or singing.

Frank Filipetti is a prolific music producer, engineer, mixer, and digital recording advocate with countless accolades, nominations, and a whopping seven Grammys to his name. His decades-spanning career has had him collaborate with a diverse array of artists like James Taylor, Foreigner, Survivor, Carly Simon, Barbra Streisand, George Michael, Frank Zappa, Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, Ray Charles, Madonna, Kiss, Mariah Carrey, Hole, Korn, and countless others.

“I’ve sold millions of records, and I’ve got a great reputation in the industry as someone who puts the extra effort into getting the best sound possible.”

Filipetti is a bit of a renaissance man who cannot be relegated to just one musical genre. He has also left his musical mark in the realms of film and stage through productions like Working Girl, Postcards From the Edge, Across the Universe, Enchanted, Cars, Aidia, Wicked, Spamalot, The Book of Mormon, the list goes on. He also designs acoustics and recording studios. The man is a music machine. “When I find something that sounds exceptional, I go for it, and it stays with me for as long as I can.”

For the first time, his vast collection of music and recording equipment is being offered for sale. This collection is a chance to own some scarce and collectible pieces of engineering and pop culture history. “They’re mechanical devices, so whatever magic was put into that particular unit, it stays with it, and so I’ve kept all these things all these years simply because that’s what they were. They were magic, and they were instruments unlike any other. I stand behind them 100%.”

When you purchase one of these pieces, you’re not just literally buying the piece; you’re also gaining the stories and the unique alchemy behind them. Now, they can be a part of your story.
